Where and when the court acquitted the man who had committed murder in the eyes of many witnesses? 
In 1921 in Berlin born in Turkey Soghomon Tehlirian in the eyes of many witnesses shot the man and immediately surrendered to the police. His victim was the former Minister of internal Affairs of the Ottoman Empire, Talaat Pasha, known as one of the organizers of the Armenian genocide. Given this, the court acquitted Tehlirian's recognizing his actions committed in the heat of passion, and freed the killer from custody.
